Lucy Gibson is a long-time community volunteer and activist, with extensive experience in mentoring at-risk children and a deep interest in creating community supports for them.
Danielle Yancey has been a member of the Mentoring Positives Board of Directors since 2011. Danielle has extensive experience in educational program development in the areas of college preparation, career exploration, leadership development and green education. She also has significant experience in event and conference planning, meeting facilitation, project management and public participation. As a strong advocate for sustainability, Danielle has worked with several organizations and community-based projects aimed at protecting the environment, while also promoting social change and empowerment.
Danielle attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in women studies and social welfare. She also received a Masters of Science in urban and regional planning with a specialization in social justice and environmental equity from UW-Madison. She recently obtained a graduate certificate in sustainability leadership from Edgewood College.
